whether you are a Shared Lives carer, a Shared Lives scheme, Homeshare scheme,
Small Community Service or local coordinator for Small Community Services. You
can find out about our different kinds of membership by clicking the link on the
left.
For Shared Lives carers, key membership benefits include:
- A FREE confidential helpline for support and advice from a dedicated national Carers Development Worker.
- FREE access to a legal helpline which you can use for advice on any relevant legal issue.
- FREE legal expenses cover (up to a maximum of £25000) if you have an allegation made against you.
- Three Shared Lives Carer newsletters a year via post, which keep you up to date and in touch.
For Shared Lives carers and people working in Small Community Services, benefits include:
- Access to Public Liability Insurance at a preferential rate.
- The opportunity to get in touch with other members face to face, online or through telephone conferences or email group.
